Earth Day (22nd April 2021)

Earth Day 2021

Earth day _ " The Earth does not belong to us,we belong to Earth".
This statement was said by Chief Seattle in his famous speech in his native Duwamish to his tribal assembly in the year 1854.
The statement, spoken so many years ago, is still so relevant, especially in todays time. Simple, yet it speaks volumes about our relationship with Mother Earth.
To remind each one of us of our relationship with Mother Earth ...Earth Day is celebrated every year on 22nd April.
It is also celebrated in order to raise awareness among the people all across the globe about the necessity of protecting Mother Earth. This event has become perhaps one of the most celebrated events of the world.
The celebration of this event also becomes extremely significant in the wake of this turbulant period of pandemic. Its high time now we realised and reminded ourselves that each one of us has the responsibility to protect our planet.
This gentle reminder of accepting of our responsibility towards Mother Earth, was creatively put up by our little team of Josephite students in the form of a small online assembly.
An initiative by our students to pay homage to Mother Earth on this day of 22nd April.
Hope you all like and appreciate this small but creative presentation by the students.
Wishing each and everyone a Happy Earth's Day !
Stay home .....Stay safe
