An orientation program for the teachers was conducted on Tuesday, 7th May 2024 for both the High School and Primary teachers and from 9th - 10th May 2024 for the students. The aim of the training program was to equip the teachers with adequate skills for conducting effective class. The other aspect discussed in the program was self management and IPP- (integrated pedagogical program) for understanding inclusive education.
The students orientation covered different aspects of developing the leadership skills. Selected students from classes V – VII along with students cabinet body attended the two days engaging training program.
The orientation program was organized in the auditorium of St Joseph's Convent Higher Secondary, Chittaranjan, under the able Guidance of. Fr. John Rogers S.J. Director General of Leadership Training Service, who has conducted various seminars, workshops and orientation for teachers and Students. Fr John is well versed in skills training and has been a dedicated trainer in this field since last twenty years and has taught environmental Science in Morning Star College since last 15 years. He is presently looking after LTS in two countries- namely India and Nepal.
Teachers from primary and secondary side jointly attended this session to gain knowledge regarding innovative teaching techniques to be used in everyday class room teaching. The entire session was motivating, exciting,inspiring and above all informative. We look forward to more such didactic sessions in the days to come for both the teachers as well as the students.
