8th March 2018, was celebrated as the women's day in the portal of St. Joseph's Convent Higher Secondary School. The gents, teaching as well as non teaching staff, organized a short colorful programme to honor all lady staff members of the institution. The program began with invoking blessings of the Devine providence followed by a reading from the Holy Bible. They entertained us by singing a melodious song which depicted the days relevance. A short PPT presentation based on evolution of a woman and her journey in life was showcased to make us realize our various roles assigned in our families and the society.
Having said all these don't you agree that the biggest pillars of the society are we- the women? So the lady brigade of St. Joseph's Convent Higher Secondary School took a minute to thank the men squad for making us feel special.
N.B. Last but not the least; the day did not go DRY. A small refreshment was arranged in our honor to stimulate the energy level and fellow feeling.
