Orientation (4th, 5th, 6th April 2018)
The word ‘Orientation’ sounds too boring and becomes a cause of disgust in the mind of the students. But this time we the students of class IX, X and XII of St. Joseph’s Convent Higher Secondary School Chittaranjan were proved wrong. What we experienced on 4th, 5th and 6th of April respectively under the able guidance of our Resource Person Fr. Benny Sebastian (SDB) was really beyond our expectation and expression. Father’s beaming face, his energetic gesture and the warmth and spontaneity of his voice made us really awe struck. The warm messages that father gave was to soar high like an eagle and to have absolute faith in one self. He said where there is a will there is a way and failure comes only with lack of faith. He said that each human being is a unique creation of God and helped us to remove our nervousness and create self confidence. Some activities were also performed in the session like there was a mime where students were put into groups. These activities helped us to healthy friendship, healthy relationships and competitive spirit. However the whole orientation session has left an indelible impression in our minds and what we have gained we shall try to put into practice and forever remain grateful to our Principal, school management, and all those who are instrumental in organizing this great and remarkable session.
