Showers of Blessings (26th June 2018)
On 26th June 2018, St. Joseph’s Convent Higher Secondary School witnessed a beautiful morning when the new block of the school received the blessings from Bishop Rt. Rev. Cyprian Monis, Fr. Dolphy Inspector of Schools, and Fr. Ananth Kumar, Financial Manager of the Asansol Diocese.
The day began with a solemn Prayer service on blessing was conducted by the students of classes VII, VIII & X. With the words of welcome and welcome song the dignitaries were accorded a warm welcome. A skit added flavor to the programme as it showcased the various blessings that God has bestowed us with in the form of our parents, teachers, friends, food and clothes. Dancers made the day a charming one to be always remembered. The melodious tune of “There shall be showers of blessings” filled the school building with its sweetness as the students sang and Bishop Rt. Rev. Cyprian Monis blessed the new School Building.
The day ended with a never fading mark to the history of SJCHSS.
