Superior General’s Visit (30th July 2018)
We meet many people in life, most of them we tend to forget but some leave an everlasting mark on our hearts and minds. On 30th July 2018, SJCHSS witnessed and welcome one such person in the name of Sr. Rose Celine, the Superior General of the Bethany congregation and Sr. Lillita her General Counsellor.
The very presence of Sr. Rose Celine inspired and motivated each and every Josephite member.
The School Band with their bugles and trumpets accorded a grand band escort to Sr. Rose Celine which was followed by Prayer to invoke Divine Blessings on Sr. Rose Celine.
With words of Welcome & welcome song, the staff & students tried to creat a homely environment for Sr. Rose Celine.
Sr. Shwetha, our principal introduced Sr. Rose Celine and her vocation with the help of a PowerPoint presentation.
The dancing steps of students from Primary School filled the day with lots of energy and vigour.
A meaningful dance drama on “The oyster & the pearl” was enacted by the students of the Secondary School with a valuable moral, to keep moving in difficult situation, work hard and to live the life to its fullest and to shine like a Pearl.
Sr. Rose Celine, the Superior General of Bethany Congregation in her speech inspired and encouraged students to achieve excellence by identifying one’s own potential and also by developing each ones unique potentialities.
The Programme ended with a note of gratitude to one and all who contributed towards the success of the days programme.
