The anti child labour day is celebrated all over the world on 12th June every year. In many parts of the world and also even in India, thousands of children and not given education and they are deprived of the right to education and several other child rights. The children under 14 years of age are made to work in factories ,hotels ,offices and in several industries where they have to face several hardships and dangers every moment. The wages are also not paid to them or are very low as compared to their work. In most of the cases the children are made to work by their parent to earn money specially in pool, rural and isolated areas. The anti child labour day aims at spreading awareness among the people specially the people of rural and poor areas to make them understand the importance of educating a child and the harmful effect on a child's life is they are made to work at an early age. Thus ,this particular day is celebrated as a protest against child labour .The entire world stands united to remove the social evil of child labour from the society and improve the life of children by securing their childhood on this particular day.
