Farewell Program

La Despadida - Farewell Program (Outgoing class XII) Batch of 2018

It was an incredible morning of 29th January 2018, at the portals of SJCHSC CHITTARANJAN, as the students of class XI hosted and organised a grand farewell program for outgoing students of class XII-to bid them adieu. The theme of the program was "La Despadida"-----Goodbye!!

The program began with a short prayer service and a prayer song followed by a dance performance by the students of class XI which was well applauded by everyone present.

To add some more fun to the farewell ceremony, class XII students were given personalised handmade cards (by class XI students exclusively) based on their unique personalities.

The star attraction of the event was the musical skit, based on a typical classroom scenario.

The students of class XI had pulled in all their resources to make this event a grand success. The school Principal in her didactic speech wished each one of the outgoing student’s good luck for their future. She also expressed her hope that the students will continue to uphold the SJCHSC flag and keep the Motto of the school high in whatever they do and wherever they go.

As a token of love and appreciation the students were presented by their Principal Dr.Sr.Swetha B.S. a book by Shiv Khera and a school memento.

"School days are the best days in anyone’s life", this was the common line shared by both Amisha (representing the entire batch of Class XII) and Madam Saswati (representing the entire faculty members of SJC) in their respective speeches. The program finally came to an end with a special classical dance number presented by Monami of class XII as a mark of her tribute and ode to her Alma mater. The entire programme was conceptualised and conducted under the supervision and guidance of school Vice Principal Sr.Carol B.S. and Ms.Payal Sengupta, class teacher of class XI.

The fun filled day with music, dance and song was like a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers to reminisce the memories of the bygone days as each student was handed over a burning candle by the teachers as a mark of guiding light that will brighten the path of the students journey. The hall was set ablaze with pulsating music throughout the program that not only rocked the ambience but also made each and everyone present tap their feet. The curtain was finally drawn by singing the school anthem for the last time by the students of class XII.
