Human Trafficking (08th Feb 2018)

On 8th February 2018, a short assembly was conducted by the students of Class VIII A on the topic 'HUMAN TRAFFICKING'.

The assembly started by observing a moment of silence for 27 million children, men and women who are the victims of slavery followed by a prayer song and prayer to console and heal all the sufferers of human trafficking and change of heart of all those who are involved in this crime. Students presented the exact definition of Human Trafficking along with the current statistics of how many millions of people are trafficked each day in India.

Students also presented few action plans that can be followed to spread awareness about this growing issue and how more and more people can be informed about it.

The assembly concluded by the beautiful song, “Tell me why” and the encouraging words of Dr. Sr. Shwetha, the Principal of the school wherein she emphasized on the importance of wearing Orange Badges to school on Friday and spreading awareness among the masses about Human Trafficking.
