Independence Day (15th August 2020)
The country celebrates 74th Independence Day on 15th August 2020.It is a red-letter day for all Indians
to feel proud as it was after a long struggle and consistent effort that we got Independence from the
shackles of slavery of the British.
Owing to the Covid-19 Pandemic and absence of regular classes in school, online activities were
organised for children which included drawing, painting, dancing, speech making, and recitation.
On 15th August the flag hoisting ceremony took place in the midst of the teachers, office staff and
support staff. This was followed by a short speech by our dear Principal, Sr. Jennifer CSST.
Teachers from the primary section expressed their feelings by singing a patriotic song. The program
concluded with a few lines spoken by each teacher on this occasion.
