Inter House Rangoli Competition ( Primary)
The word 'Rangoli' is derived from the Sanskrit word 'Ranga Valli'.
Traditionally rangoli is an art of decoration drawn on the floor or the entrance of homes . People
usually use ground rice powder, colours, flowers petals or diyas to make these decorative patterns.
To bring out the artistic skill of the students an Inter House Rangoli Competition was conducted on
9
th August 2023 in the primary auditorium for the students of classes III and IV .
The students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The Rangoli making competition
motivated the students to exhibit their creativity with colours. The competition also taught the
young Josephites the true meaning of collaboration, cooperation and team spirit that is required
for a team to bring out the best work. The competition was conducted under the direction of our
honourable in charge Sr. Shweta and the members of the cultural committee.
