In every school the most exciting event is the annual school sports. It is held once a year, around the month of December. Teamspirit - Play with Heart Win with Honour - the annual sports meet of SJCHSS was a gala event which took place on Saturday 21st December, 2024.

Students were brimming with excitement and enthusiasm. Both the primary and the secondary section students had been a part of this event.

The bright sunny morning began with the hoisting of the flag and the school song. The sports meet was declared open by the honourable Chief Guest and the torch was lighted, thus spreading the positive energy and adding to the heat of excitement. Then the most awaited March Past began. The four houses march passed the dais and saluted the chief guest. The march past was followed by a variety of athletic events. The crowd cheered for all the participants motivating them to give their best not only for their own sake but also for the sake of the houses that they represented. There were not only the athletic events in the sports meet, but also drill display, the theme dance and a heartwarming skit depicting the true meaning and spirit of Christmas which was followed by the finale dance and closing ceremony.

During the prize distribution ceremony individual winners were awarded for their meritorious performance.

This magnum event concluded with the golden words of the honourable chief guest Mr. Satya Prakash - I.G.cum PCSC -CLW/CRJ and the declaration of the overall champion which was an icing on top of the cake. The champion's trophy was bagged by House BlueBells and for the runners up trophy was bagged by House Shamrock. They proved that - every champion was once a contender that refused to give up.

The event was declared closed with the lowering of the flag by Rev Fr. Wilson.
