“Spelling is important because it aids in reading. It helps cement the connection that is shared between sounds and letters.”
Under the guidance of Sr. Pushpa, An Inter-House Spell Bee Competition was conducted on 9th January 2025 for classes I to IV in the primary wings to enhance the auditory and comprehension power of the students. Spelling is the order of letters that compose a particular word. Many words are spelled phonetically; that is, they can be spelled by simply sounding out the letters in the word.
This competition was one of the numerous enjoyable competitions that give students a platform to learn spellings in different ways. The primary objective behind organising this competition was to expose the students to the beautiful world of vocabulary, pronunciation and help students to improve their spellings, increase their vocabulary, learn concepts, and develop the use of correct English. Children participated earnestly in the competition. Their efforts and initiative was appreciated by one and all.
